Sunday April 27, 2025, Archpriest Andrew Bartek was honored by Campbell, Ohio community and his parish community following Divine Liturgy. Over 80 parishioners, local community leaders, fire department personnel and family members gathered for a celebration banquet. The interim Mayor of Campbell, George Levendis, presented Father Andrew with a City Proclamation declaring Sunday, April 27th, 2025 “Father Andrew Day” in Campbell.
Among the esteemed guests at the event included Cambpell’s interim Mayor & his wife, the City Council President and his wife, several local Orthodox priests from the area, Campbel Fire Department personnel and many family relatives from across the country.
Those dignitaries unable to attend the celebration wrote personal letters which were read by the president of the Parish Council. Among the letters received included those from His Eminence, the Right Reverend MICHAEL, Archbishop of the OCA Diocese of New York and New Jersey; the Mayor of Summitt, IL; the Mayor of Marblehead, IL; the Fire Chief from Summitt, IL; a City Councilman from Summit, IL; the Marblehead Lions Club and from many of his former parishioners. Their greetings included words of appreciation and gratitude for the many ways Father Andrew touched their lives and that of others.
It was a joyous day of celebration.
