Thursday, December 11, 2025, the parishioners of St John the Baptist Church, Campbell, OH prepared and served a hot meal, desserts and beverages to the local Campbell community.  

The new Mayor of Campbell, Mr. Bill Valentino gave a helping hand serving all who attended.  Joining him were community volunteers, local elementary school basketball players former city council members and local restaurant employees, as well as St. John’s parishioners.  The parish plans to continue this special event several times a year.

Following the meal, the parish took food to the local senior complex for over 200 people.

Most recently, Archpriest Andrew Bartek, rector of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church gave the invocation at the swearing in of the new Mayor & new City Council members of Campbell.  Father Andrew serves as the Chaplain of the Campbell Fire Department.
